Vacancies are always advertised on our career page, and there are often ongoing processes throughout the year. For seasonal operations, the application period opens for the winter season in June. For the summer season, the application period opens in January.
-
We read all applications that come in and then go through a selection process including interviews and conversations. You will receive ongoing updates on where you are in the process.
-
You will receive your employment agreement well in advance of your start date, often about 1-2 weeks before the start of employment. We often use e-signatures, which makes the process easier and faster. When you have been accepted, you will receive invitations to our internal systems, so keep an eye on your inbox. Your immediate manager will guide you all the way until your first day!
-
Yes, we have a number of accommodations that you as an employee can rent. Tick that you want staff accommodation already in the application form and we will help you find the right accommodation!
-
It is usually not needed, but it is an advantage for being able to get around and discover the surroundings! If you only need to go between the village and Kåvan we usually use our own public transport - the gondola!
-
For free!
The Mountain Pass is included for those who work more than 6 weeks during a season. The Mountain Pass lets you discover all nearby resorts for free! If you work with us during the summer, a lift pass is included for all summer active lifts around where you can go downhill mountainbikeing for example.

We follow the guidelines according to the collective agreement! We are collectively affiliated to HRF agreements for our collective employees and affiliated to agreements with Unionen for our salaried employees.
-
Very different depending on the type of job, but if you have applied for a lift attendant, for example, you will likely start around the beginning of December. The ski slope always opens on the last Thursday in November and closes for the season on the Sunday after the Easter break in April.
-
As an employee, you always have a work schedule and, in your employment contract, an employment rate that is calculated for the entire employment period. We of course follow all working time regulations and apply collective agreements.
-
Working hours differ depending on the role and task you have. However, the majority work according to our opening hours in the facility, but we also have some who work outside opening hours connected to maintenance work to create conditions, e.g. machine operators who prepare our slopes.
-
Yes, we have a high level of returning employees and many have also chosen to settle in Funäsdalen! We have about 50% returning staff every year and that makes our workforce a good mix of new blood and experienced colleagues!
